Désirée Maurd Creative Director & Partner Prime Sweden Désirée Maurd is Partner and Creative Director at Stockholm-based international communications agency Prime Group. She joined the company directly from university in 2006 and in her first year was nominated one of Sweden's 'PR Rookies'. She was appointed as Prime's youngest partner in early 2010. Industry recognitions include awards at Swedish PR industry awards SPINN, the European Excellence Awards, the SABRE Awards, Clio Healthcare, Eurobest Advertising Festival and Cannes Lions. In 2010 Désirée was part of the first ever PR Jury at Eurobest. Désirée is driven by her passion for digital communications, which is at the heart of all her creative work. This drive has been fuelled by her formal training in journalism at university, to which she attributes her business successes because it has given her a creative mind that is also structured and analytical. She is now spearheading Prime Group's move into other international markets. Désirée is a frequent lecturer on digital PR at the prestigious Berghs School of Communications and at the Universities of Stockholm and Gothenburg. She is regularly invited to speak at influential industry events such as the World PR Forum.
